FAQ: closure and reopening
We will always publish all the relevant information on our homepage as well as on Facebook and Instagram. We are additionally available for individual questions or concerns in person at the UNIFIT infopoint, via phone at 0631 205–5005 or per email at infopoint(at)hochschulsport.uni-kl.de. Do not hesitate to contact us - we are always available for you!
Due to the applying safety and hygienic measures of the federal government of Rhineland-Palatinate, we currently cannot open all our areas and provide all of our offers. The Fruttibar is currently out of order and the childcare is still closed. The changing rooms and showers as well as the sauna and relaxation area are open again. The squash court can be booked again.
Please note that you are obligated to wear a protective mask (mouth and nose cover) when entering UNIFIT until you have approached your spot of exercising. We would also like to remind you to disinfect your hands at the infopoint while entering our building. You will find further information concerning the hygienic and safety measurements at our new information area.
You do not need to register for your regular training at UNIFIT. Nevertheless, the number of members who can exercise simultaneously is limited to 60 persons. You will always receive information about the current capacity on our homepage.
Courses are currently being offered in a reduced form. You will find our course schedule on our homepage. Please note that you need to register for our courses. You can register here or directly at UNIFIT.
We are trying our best to accommodate you in the best way possible during the current situation. Your membership fees have been collected during the time of closure. Therefore, we are offering you the following two options: a time credit or a free Bring-A-Friend offer. You will find further information to the compensation on these pages. You can take advantage of these options directly at UNIFIT by filling in a form at the infopoint.
Bring-A-Friend allows you to be accompanied by another person on the weekends and on holidays for free. Your companion can make use of all offers of UNIFIT that you are also registered for during the time of presence except the courses for which a registration is obligatory.
9. Can I now terminate my Bring-A-Friend membership when I am getting it for free for several months?
If you are already making use of our Bring-A-Friend membership, we are going to pause it for 4 months for you. Please inform us in written form.
10. I want to make use of the time credit but I cannot claim it due to an extraordinary notice of cancelation. Do I get the membership fees of the time of closure back?
In case your membership is cancelled due to an extraordinary notice of cancellation before the termination of your membership, the time credit which you could not make use of will be fully paid back to you.
